One Day Workshop for Adults

This candle making course has been re-developed from two evenings into a one day workshop.

It commences at 10:30am and concludes around 6:00pm (finishing times may vary depending on student numbers). The morning begins straight away: learning how to infuse cotton string with essential oil and priming it to become your main candle's wick. You will be shown how to melt wax using household containers, then to add colour and pour it into a mould. This is the foundation step for the major candle you will be making. While this sets you will be introduced to some of the meanings of colours, to essential oils and Runes; how to use them for healing and/or enhancing your environment.  

You will be able to make your own hand rolled candle out of natural bees wax.

You will also be shown how to cleanse a standard white taper candle, decorate it and anoint it with essential oil for a specific healing purpose.

In the afternoon, when your main candle is set, you will be able to carve healing Runes and/or sigils onto its surface, fill your carved lines with paint and then dip your candle into hot wax to seal your design: your main healing candle will be complete.

All materials, a workshop manual and certificate of participation are included in the workshop cost $200.00

All students who attend one day workshops or seminars are required to bring their own lunch. Tea, coffee and water are provided at break intervals during the day.
